aku-aku: v.. To move a tall, flat bottomed object (such as a bookshelf) by swiveling it alternatively on its corners in a "walking" fashion. [After the book by Thor Heyerdahl theorising the statues of Easter Island were moved in this fashion.] source: LangMaker.com. Aku Aku also has another meaning to the islanders: a spiritual guide.

A bunch of us went to see Princess Superstar DJ at the Cat Club last night. She was throwing down some good tracks. Mixing a lot of classic rock or disco with hip hop, similar to DJ Radar and Z-Trip. All in all a fun night out, except for when Mike lost his coat ticket and we had to wait until 3AM to get his coat, while enduring passionate indifference from the coat-room clerk and an angry unprovoked tirade from the bouncer when one of us tried to talk the clerk into some leniency. But still was fun :)
