Ever had a bad month? My friend Dan has had a bad month, for example:

6 blocks from her house, I was pulled off my bike at the intersection of Shattuck and Alcatraz by a crowd of youths. They kicked me in the face a few times in the middle of the intersection, while cars on all sides honked because we were in their way. When I got up I was almost cartoonishly furious. I hit two of them pretty solidly and they all backed off, melting back into the crowd hanging out by the laundromat. I screamed for them to fight like men, challenging any two of them to face me in the intersection.

Wow, I thought I had a bad month... Started off a few weeks ago Thursday by getting bit by a spider in a location where no man should be seen in public constantly scratching. Next came a full on sinus infection. On Friday I discovered that the hot water heater had been leaking for days and had not fallen through the floor only because it was being held up by the water pipes. Sunday night closed with the start of an extremely painful few days from a cracked tooth caused by me biting down really hard while doing the plumbing work installing a new tankless hot water heater. And to top it all off I woke up on Monday morning with pink eye or some sort of conjunctivitis of the eyes. I'm still trying to figure out where that came from. It was one hella weekend. Hope June turns out better ya. Frank
